Public commenter urges Greenway Committee review and preservation of sidewalk easement on Devonshire

William Miller, a member of the public and participant in township committees, told the commission he was unable to access plan documents online and urged inclusion of Greenway Committee review for sidewalk and connectivity planning. "I wasn't able to pull up any. You have documents in front of you. I couldn't see any of this to prepare to come in here tonight, and I feel at a at a big disadvantage," Miller said, requesting that the commission secure easements so sidewalks can be built in the future.
Commissioners and staff responded that the township has an adopted official map that identifies pedestrian connectivity (including a mixed‑use path on the opposite side of Devonshire) and that staff could work with the applicant to include a note reserving a right for a future sidewalk easement along the Devonshire frontage. Miller also raised historical concerns about past waiver practices in Lower Paxton, and commissioners acknowledged public interest in longer‑term corridor planning.
