Council okays $2,500 for Chalo Nitka restroom repairs; surplus equipment to go to auction

Public Works Superintendent Brad Simmons told the council on July 7 that the city will send several surplus items—including the old bucket truck and front forks for the old tractor—to auction and that the auctioneer will pick up items and remit proceeds to the city. Councilmember Alisha Beck moved to authorize Simmons to spend up to $2,500 for the restroom repairs; RaShonda Croskey seconded the motion and it carried.
