The Village of Sodus Point Zoning Board took the following actions at its Jan. 14, 2025 meeting:
• Approved an amended special-permit for a dock at 8538 Gardenier Lane (motion by Tom Johns; second by Sue Bassage) — vote: Tom Johns — aye; Lynn Carlyle — aye; Sue Bassage — aye. • Declined to consider a revised special-use application from Brandon Martin for storage buildings at 7118 Route 14 (board vote: all members voted nay on whether to consider the case). • Approved an area variance for reconstruction at 8512 Greig Street to rebuild 3 ft from the property line where 5 ft is required (motion by Lynn Carlyle; second by Sue Bassage) — unanimous approval. • Approved minutes from Nov. 25, 2024 (motion by Tom Johns; second by Sue Bassage). The board adjourned at 7:39 p.m.; the next ZBA meeting was noted to be Jan. 27 if business exists.
