Councilmember RaShonda Croskey moved to approve the award and Bradley Smith seconded; the motion carried.
Tibbs said the existing tractor will go to auction and that proceeds will help offset the replacement cost. Council discussed whether the new John Deere was compatible with the city's side arm; Attorney Brad Simmons confirmed it was and said the city plans to auction a larger side arm and acquire a smaller one later.
