Council adopted a resolution authorizing the mayor to execute an entity-state agreement and funding commitment letter with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for an approximately $1.6 million sidewalk project to connect neighborhoods to Gonzales Middle School, staff said.
City staff said the project completed its feasibility study and carries no local match; the work would extend sidewalks along Oris, Rowe and Worthy and also provide connections near the Freeland Jackson area. Council member Turner moved for adoption and the resolution passed.
