Allison Enright of Circuit Engineering District 5 updated the Cleveland County Board Nov. 10 on the CIRB roadway plan, reporting that four parcels are currently being worked on and one parcel is complete. Enright told the board the team will move into utility coordination after the remaining parcels are finished.
Enright said the county "may need to consider moving the project back one year (to 2029)" to avoid completing the roadway only to have it disrupted by later construction or increased traffic load. Commissioners discussed coordinating the scheduled years to prevent rework; no formal vote or schedule change was adopted at the meeting, and staff were directed to continue coordination with District 5.
