Cleveland County commissioners approve consent docket including ARPA projects, truck purchase and $1.27M in claims

The Cleveland County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously Nov. 10 to approve its consent docket covering contracts, inventory reports, surplus declarations and claims totaling $1,272,575.96. Chairman Jacob McHughes described the items as "routing in nature" before the board moved to approve the package.

The consent docket included a potential Oklahoma Department of Commerce marketing partnership grant of up to $5,000 for the county, a corrected agreement to purchase a 2026 Mack truck (VIN 1M2PN4GC4TM018503) through Bruckner's Truck & Equipment with a unit price of $193,643.00 and a total lease-purchase price of $212,669.76 (monthly payment $2,336.87), and multiple inventory and surplus actions for county departments. The agenda listed claims across funds totaling $1,272,575.96 and the board approved the payments as presented.

Other consent items approved included a memorandum of agreement with Green Energy Solutions, LLC regarding assignment of compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion equipment to the county at a proposed purchase/installation price of $0.00 contingent on the county accepting maintenance responsibility; a $19,200 engineering payment for Rural Water District work on CIRB Project JP 34438(4); and an ARPA-funded District 3 asphalt project with Haskell Lemon for $270,000.00. The Sheriff's Office renewal of Offender Watch Enterprise at $3,223.52 for Dec. 4, 2025–Dec. 3, 2026, was also approved, and a Taurus PT111 handgun was declared surplus.

The motion to approve the consent items was made by Commissioner Rod Cleveland, seconded by Commissioner Rusty Grissom, and the vote was Jacob McHughes, yes; Rusty Grissom, yes; Rod Cleveland, yes. No public comments were recorded on the items during the meeting.
