The Village Hall Capital Improvement Committee reviewed prior professional evaluations of the building, including an H2M engineering study dated February 8, 2022, and a cost estimate for steel column replacement prepared by Retro-fit Inc. on September 25, 2023. Rob Minarik told the committee that copies of both documents were circulated to members to ground further planning.
Committee members said the H2M study assessed the building as a whole and offered general recommendations and cost estimates; the Retro-fit Inc. estimate focused on steel column replacement costs. The reports will inform the committee's prioritization and the requested engineering update that Trustees may be asked to fund. The meeting minutes note that Rob Minarik described these documents to the group (SEG 005).
