The board approved a broad consent agenda that included prior meeting minutes, financial statements, the 2026–27 T-TESS appraisal calendar and appraisers, campus discipline coordinators, Safe and Supportive School Program team memberships, the WISD student and employee handbooks, a resolution declaring a good-cause exemption for the House Bill 3 armed security officer requirement, extracurricular handbooks, cafeteria meal prices for 2026–27, the board meeting calendar and the district testing calendar, and consideration of Policy Update 127.
Trustee Jeremy Maupin moved approval of the consent items and Trustee Jim Sanders seconded; the board recorded unanimous yes votes from all seven trustees. The consent package also corrected attendance for the July 13 board workshop to show Jim Sanders and Jeremy Maupin absent in that prior meeting's minutes.
