Moore Haven authorizes statewide mutual-aid agreement with Florida DEM

City Manager Larry Tibbs explained that the state has assumed certain mutual-aid responsibilities and provided a contract for cities to enter. City Attorney Steve Ramunni read Resolution 2026-09 aloud; Council member Bradley Smith moved to approve the resolution, Alisha Beck seconded, and the motion carried.
The minutes record approval of the resolution but do not provide a roll-call vote tally. The action allows Moore Haven to participate in mutual-aid and related resource-sharing arrangements coordinated by FDEM under SMAA-2023.
