At its June 16 meeting, the Moore Haven City Council approved Resolution 2026-08 awarding Ready Power LLC a $117,114 base-bid contract to install an emergency generator at City Hall.
City Manager Larry Tibbs said the project is a change in scope for the HL207 grant previously awarded for City Hall improvements and that the request for proposals was advertised in the newspaper and on the city website. “We received only one response from Ready Power LLC in the amount of $117,114.00 base bid,” Tibbs said.
Council member Alisha Beck moved to approve the resolution; RaShonda Croskey seconded and the motion carried. The council did not record a roll-call tally in the minutes. The city clerk and manager will proceed with standard contract execution and project scheduling under the awarded bid and the HL207 grant terms.
