Planning Board approves preliminary plan for 1–16‑site RV campground at 8017 Margaretta Road

Phil Leone presented a preliminary site plan for an RV campsite on a 1.5‑acre lot at 8017 Margaretta Road. Leone said the layout would include up to 16 RV campsites, a bathhouse with central laundry, and access designed to accommodate emergency vehicles. The board questioned RV lengths, winter occupancy, parking, signage and landscaping; Leone said he envisioned seasonal stays and no tents on the site.
The board completed SEQR Part 2 with findings listed in the minutes (many categories marked "no" or "small" impacts) and voted to approve the preliminary site plan conditioned on Department of Health approval. Janine Fogarty moved to approve and William McKee seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
