Bronxville Board Approves Several Routine Capital and Administrative Resolutions, Schedules Budget Hearing

At the March 9 meeting the Bronxville Board of Trustees approved a slate of routine resolutions and scheduled next steps for the annual budget. The board moved to approve minutes from its February 9 executive session, work session and regular meeting; the motion was moved and seconded and carried with aye votes.
The trustees then approved a small-resolution item noting a potential $4,000 increment in state aid to the village, authorized $12,000 for sensors and equipment to reduce paddle-court lighting being left on, and approved a technology-and-security proposal from a vendor for just under $19,000 to upgrade cameras and intercoms (including video at building employee entrances and basement cameras). The board also agreed to schedule a public hearing to amend the Village's Vehicle and Traffic chapter to extend a no-parking zone on Parkway Road, increasing the no-parking area from 55 to 80 feet so vehicles will not park on or too near a crosswalk.
Administrator Jim Palmer told trustees he will post the proposed budget and that the public hearing and annual meeting are set for April 13 at 7 PM when newly elected trustees and the judge will be sworn in. The board concluded by voting to adjourn and meet again on April 13.
