Multiple trustees responded with personal tributes, recalling Behrends's role in the MultiPark project, her ability to build consensus, and her commitment to the community. The board presented a signed print by village resident artist Bill Dowling as a token of appreciation.
Trustees noted Behrends will remain a resident and encouraged continued engagement; the meeting returned to regular business after the remarks.
