The State Liquor Authority approved a temporary retail permit for Food and Fuel Incorporated after reviewing the applicant’s prior character history and documentation of remedial actions.
Attorney Miguel Reyes told the board the applicant had a past license cancellation and related character questions from 2010 and 2004. He said the principal completed counseling, training and other steps described in documents submitted to the authority and that outstanding contract/transaction details would be supplied as requested. Commissioners asked for follow‑up records and made clear enforcement and training would be required; Commissioner De Leon noted the authority’s enforcement oversight and asked the application be returned to the board for final license determination when complete.
The board voted to grant a temporary permit and directed licensing staff to require proof of the conditions discussed prior to issuing a full license.
