Boyle County approves $1.19 million cash transfer and routine budget moves

The Boyle County Fiscal Court voted to approve multiple budget and cash transfers on Aug. 10 during a regular session.
Treasurer Shannon Green reported the largest single transfer: "From occupational tax to the general fund, $1,192,377.68," and listed additional moves including $500,000 to an interest-bearing account, $3,500 from an e911 fund to the general fund, $100,000 to the jail fund, $200,000 to EMS and $10,000 to fleet. The court approved the cash transfers by voice vote.
Green also presented budget transfers totaling $8,025.18 and the court approved that motion. Earlier in the meeting the treasurer noted the day's bill packet originally totaled $2,172,115.74; a $1,827 vendor bill was pulled at the judge's request and the adjusted total of $2,170,288.74 was approved by the court.
