Town Board sets April 14 public hearings on additional parking and traffic proposals

The Board also called hearings for a handicapped parking proposal in Elmont/Uniondale/West Hempstead naming specific streets (Lehrer Avenue, Macon Place, Oak Street & Greenway South) and set a public hearing for an application by SHIV 138 LLC for a special exception to maintain an automobile repair facility in Oceanside (location described in the minutes). These scheduled hearings provide the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed code changes and land-use application.
