Trustees adopt multiple 2025–26 policies and handbooks
Summary
The La Villa ISD board approved the 2025–26 Professional Development Plan, Student Code of Conduct, G.T. Handbook and Business Procedures Manual during the Aug. 16 meeting; approvals were unanimous among members present.
Superintendent Robert Muñoz presented a slate of policy and handbook approvals for the 2025–26 school year. Trustees approved the Professional Development Plan, the Student Code of Conduct, the G.T. (Gifted and Talented) Handbook and the Business Procedures Manual after motions and seconding by board members.
Each item was approved following the superintendent’s recommendation. Motions were made and seconded by board members (details in meeting minutes); the minutes record that "all voted in favor, motion carried" for each of these items.
