La Villa ISD board approves consent agenda, expense and tax reports

Superintendent Robert Muñoz presented the consent agenda, which included the District Expense Report for July 2025, a comparison of revenues to budget (information item), the June 2025 tax report, the 2025–26 employee handbook and the 2025–26 student handbook. Mrs. Sonia M. Lopez moved to approve the consent agenda and Mr. Gilbert Hinojosa III seconded the motion.
Board President David Alaniz called for a vote; all members present voted in favor and the motion carried. The consent-adopted handbooks and reports will govern the district’s personnel and student policies for the 2025–26 school year.
