La Villa ISD board approves past meeting minutes, records attendance

La Villa ISD Board President David Alaniz called the Aug. 16, 2025, meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. and the board approved the minutes of the July 23 regular meeting and the Aug. 6 special meeting following a superintendent recommendation.
Superintendent Robert Muñoz presented the recommendation and Mr. Eduardo Garcia Jr. moved to approve, with Mrs. Sonia M. Lopez seconding. “All voted in favor, motion carried,” Mr. Alaniz announced. Present for the vote were Alaniz, Garcia Jr., Lopez and Gilbert Hinojosa III; Yesenia Morales, Noe Castillo and Marianna Reyna were absent.
