The board voted Aug. 6 to allow Glass Ceiling Events LLC to extend indoor closing hours to 1 a.m. after licensing enforcement visited the premises and found compliance with existing stipulations. Attorney for the applicant said enforcement observed operations in compliance and noted the community board did not oppose the change this cycle. "Enforcement went out; there is no noncompliance," the applicant’s counsel told the board.
Commissioners acknowledged resident letters but approved the indoor-hour change and left outdoor hours unchanged. The applicant said the change was intended to help the business remain financially viable after nearly five years of operation under restrictive indoor hours.
