Trustees approved adding an ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) Facilitator to district staff and approved recommended teacher and professional employee contracts during the Aug. 26 meeting.
"Approved Teacher and Professional Employee Contract Recommendations - Mr. Raymond Koon made the motion, and Rev. Larry Carpenter seconded the motion. The following board members approved the Teacher and Professional Employee Contract Recommendation for Ms. Tiffany Jackson: Rev. Larry Carpenter, Randy Devorsky, Henry C. Jennings, Raymond Koon, Brenda Rocha, and Mildred Watkins voted in favor of the motion. Mr. Myron Ridge abstained from voting," the minutes show.
The addition of an ARD facilitator was moved by Trustee Mildred Watkins and seconded by Raymond Koon; that staffing change passed unanimously. The minutes do not record public comment on personnel actions.
