Local organizer seeks Community Foundation grant for park equipment; street fair and youth mural efforts underway

"I did a community poll online and asked people to give their input on things, and we based that conceptual design off of that poll," the presenter said.
The organizer also reported the contractor for amphitheater shades suffered a stolen truck and trailer, delaying shade installation until a replacement contractor can complete the work; youth mural participants will be recognized at the street fair and organizers are finalizing vendor lists.
The speaker said they plan to attend a regional AIM Summit (Sept. 29–Oct. 1) and that fundraising (including a T-shirt sale and sponsors) has covered deposits for events.
