School board approves consent agenda, accepts LHS teacher resignation

The Lampasas Independent School District Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda at a regular meeting on Oct. 6, 2025. Randy Morris, a board member, moved to approve the consent agenda and Mickey Edwards seconded the motion; the board voted "Yes" on all items.
The consent agenda included minutes from the Sept. 8 and Sept. 22, 2025 meetings, a budget amendment, the ESL program evaluation report and the notification of the resignation of Ginger Capron, an LHS teacher, effective Oct. 31, 2025. The minutes record the motion and unanimous vote; no further discussion or separate roll-call on the resignation was recorded. The meeting adjourned at 6:23 p.m.
