Several proposals tabled or deferred; multiple items received no action

At the April 8 meeting the Village of Granton board tabled or deferred several agenda items and took no action on others. Trustee Bryan Vine moved and Trustee Troy Moen seconded a motion to table the 'TEXT MY GOV' proposal; motion carried. The board similarly tabled consideration of a snow removal contract with the Granton Area Fire Association to the next meeting (motion moved by Bryan Vine, seconded by Troy Moen; motion carried).
The board also took no action on a Visusewer resident reimbursement request, a Granton First Responders item, a library update and annual report (the minutes note that nomination of a village representative to the joint library board should occur in July), a copier proposal from Bauernfeind, an upstairs apartment matter, and review of the Granton Area Fire Association bylaws. A storage container ordinance was specifically tabled for further review on the April 22, 2026 meeting at 6:30 p.m.
