Assistant Director Paul Ruane presented a finalized licensing agreement between the City of Oak Forest and Bosco’s Marketplace and said the sole amendment rescheduled the market to Wednesday, June 24, 2026 after the prior cancellation. The Council approved Resolution 2026-06-0539R by roll-call vote (6–0; 1 absent). Ruane confirmed portable toilets and a handwashing station would be delivered the following morning and that garbage cans will be on site before the event.
Mayor Pro Tem Jim Emmett asked staff to investigate electronic message boards on Cicero Avenue to promote the market; Ruane agreed and said a promotional banner will be placed on the hill. The market will relocate from a back lot to a higher-visibility front location on Cicero Avenue for the event.
