Matagorda ISD board approves Jan. minutes, adopts TASB policy update 124 and adjourns

The Matagorda Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the minutes from its Jan. 22, 2025 meeting early in the Feb. 17 session. Secretary Christy Bishop moved to approve the minutes and Board President Buddy Broussard seconded; the vote was 5-0.
Later in the meeting the board approved TASB board policy update 124 on a motion by Gina Treybig with a second from Buddy Broussard; that motion passed 5-0. The board then noted possible topics for the next meeting (no action) and adjourned at 6:35 p.m. on a motion by Gina Treybig seconded by Luke Rawlings, approved 5-0.
