Lovejoy ISD cabinet reports highlight fine arts, attendance and safety updates; superintendent thanks students

Cabinet members delivered brief reports across departments at the Dec. 16 meeting. Dr. Laurie Tinsley reported on curriculum and progress monitoring; Thomas Willman discussed tax collection and student nutrition; Anna Koenig updated the board on guest educators and staff survey items; Kyle Pursifull covered maintenance and safety and security; and Dr. Travis Zambiasi presented on fine arts and athletics community service.
Superintendent Katie Kordel thanked the Fine Arts Department and students for their contributions to the Fine Arts Festival and specifically praised the A Cappella Choir performance at the meeting. Kordel also wished students, staff and the community a joyful and restful winter break.
