Amanda Wolfenbarger, Committee Secretary and School Safety and Security Manager, explained the state's intruder-audit process and reported that the state "has conducted fourteen out of the forty-four audits for Lubbock ISD this year so far." She said the district recorded three findings since the start of the 2025–2026 school year; training was held at the campuses where the findings occurred, work orders were submitted, and the door issues were resolved.
Wolfenbarger told the committee the audits would be discussed in more detail during the executive closed session called later in the meeting. The committee did not vote on any audit findings in open session; the transcript records only the report and the district's immediate corrective steps.
