Assistant Director Paul Ruane presented an amendment to the farmers market license for Bosco's Marketplace LLC to operate weekly rather than bi‑weekly, saying the change followed council discussion and confirmation from the market manager that weekly operations were feasible. The one‑year amendment is intended to increase vendor participation and consistency and will be reviewed by both parties after one year.
Mayor Jim Hortsman and council members expressed support; Alderperson Emmett moved and Alderperson Kunz seconded the resolution. The council approved Resolution 2026‑07‑0550R by roll call vote 5–0 with two absent. Staff will monitor participation and report back at the end of the trial year.
