Planning Commission votes 6–0 on several items; Hill recognized for APA service

The Saratoga Springs Planning Commission conducted routine business and several votes during its April 16 meeting. The commission unanimously forwarded a recommendation to deny a proposed amendment to Title 19 that would have allowed larger building footprints in the Neighborhood Commercial zone. Commissioners also unanimously recommended approval of the Redwood Sports Harvest Point B site plan and voted to approve the March 26, 2026 minutes.
In reports, Commissioner Scott A. Hill described attending the American Planning Association conference with multiple City staff members; commissioners and staff recognized Hill for his service and leadership. Planning Director Sarah Carroll previewed upcoming agenda items and noted the next Planning Commission meeting would be April 30. The meeting adjourned at 7:49 p.m.
