The Saratoga Springs Planning Commission voted 6–0 to forward a recommendation for approval of the Redwood Sports Harvest Point B site plan for a property at 2113 North Hillcrest Road.
Planner II Kendal Black presented the applicant’s proposal (applicant Nathan Brown; representative Zach Cooper): one commercial building with five tenant spaces, four two‑bedroom residential units above, and a recreation room for residents. The 15,908‑square‑foot building sits on a 64,907‑square‑foot (1.49‑acre) parcel. Using multiple parking standards for the different tenant types, staff calculated a requirement of 65 parking stalls; the plan provides 65 stalls.
Commissioners praised the compliance with landscaping, architecture and parking requirements and said the design would add character and residential options above commercial uses. Commissioner Rather moved to forward a recommendation for approval; Commissioner Roman seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
