Board approves consent agenda, including Budget Amendment #2 and finance reports
Summary

At the Jan. 21 meeting the Lovejoy ISD Board approved its consent agenda, which included: approval of the Dec. 16, 2024 board meeting minutes and budget workshop minutes; the monthly finance report; the quarterly investment report; and the 2024–2025 Budget Amendment #2. Trustee Julie McLaughlin moved to approve the consent agenda; Trustee Marvin Bobo seconded the motion and it passed unanimously (Yea: 7, Nay: 0).
The minutes list those items but do not reproduce line-by-line budget amendment language or the financial tables. The Chief Financial Officer, Thomas Willman, presented the finance report and the quarterly investment update; the agenda packet contains the detailed financial statements and the amendment language.
The board also approved the district's 2025 Public Information Non-business Day Calendar as part of the consent agenda.
