At its Jan. 27 meeting the Marble Falls Independent School District Board recognized students and staff from multiple campuses.
Melissa Fletcher, principal at Colt Elementary, presented fifth-grade students Sky Laird and Derian Cervantez-Flores as January Superintendent Award recipients; Lauren Myers was introduced as the January GEM Award recipient and received an award from Dr. Jeff Gasaway. Dr. Gasaway recognized James Conner with a Spotlight on Excellence (nominated by SRO Boucher) and Yarda Leflet announced Nancy Estrada as the Spotlight on Engagement recipient for Highland Lakes Elementary.
