Mansfield ISD honors students, state competitors and Summit boys basketball at March meeting

At the March 25 Mansfield ISD Board meeting, trustees recognized a long list of student achievements and athletics wins across the district.
The board named School Board Superstar students (Liam Camacho; Reed Martinez; Mila Wilson; Olivia Delmasso; Sean Mayer; Henry Echols; Charli Johns; Lily Nguyen; Santiago Toledo) and noted students who placed at the Academic Decathlon state competition (Sawyer Shippen; Osalahor Umweni; Dylan Mire; Connor Mire; Kennedy Hilton; Aiden Lewis). TMEA All‑State band and choir honorees were recognized (including Britney Nguyen and others listed in the minutes). The board also recognized UIL Film Contest participant Kadeyn Aulton and named Daniel Henry as the 5A Boys State Champion in diving.
The board read a City of Arlington proclamation designating March 12 as Mansfield Summit High School Boys Basketball Day, and recognized the 2025 Mansfield Summit Boys Basketball team for winning the 5A-2 State Boys Basketball Championship. Several awards items were placed on the agenda as district recognitions and required no board vote.
