Mount Enterprise council approves consent agenda, adjourns special session

The council approved its consent agenda on a single motion, accepting the July 30, 2024 regular meeting minutes; July 2024 monthly reports for court, wastewater, debt service and the general fund; and approval of expenses to date for the New City Hall remodel. Councilmember Judy Cox made the motion; Councilmember Mary Jo Baird seconded and the council voted 5-0 to approve the consent agenda.
Later in the same session the council adopted a motion by Councilmember Baird and seconded by Councilmember Swann to adjourn the special meeting at 5:31 p.m.; the motion carried 5-0. The minutes do not record any public comments or extended discussion under the public-comment item.
