Superintendent Jay Underwood reported several capital and maintenance items during the Aug. 18 board meeting. He said the old gym HVAC will be replaced, the football concession stand will receive new concrete and an awning, and cafeteria construction is scheduled to begin after Labor Day with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31.
The items were reported as part of the Superintendent’s report and were not the subject of formal board action at this meeting, except for a later vote to approve the construction of a visitor locker room in the new gym using remaining bond funds. The minutes do not include cost estimates or vendor names for the reported projects.
