Board hears 2026–27 program-evaluation schedule focusing on Harbor Hope Center, pre-K and behavioral-intervention programs

Janicki said the schedule will include a year‑one implementation evaluation of the Harbor Hope Center, a comprehensive evaluation of the Scratch Cooking Initiative, and a year‑one evaluation of the pre‑kindergarten program, with results shared in fall and winter 2027. The program evaluation committee recommended adding Renew pathways and CGLAS (behavioral interventions redesigns) because they represent substantive service‑delivery changes that warrant implementation and outcome study; Advanced Technology Center, distance learning and homebound services were also recommended for evaluation readiness or comprehensive review. Board members asked about baseline data and methodology; Janicki said evaluations will start with the rebranded models and will use prior evaluation work where informative, focusing the first year on implementation.
