Former BGE employee asks PSC to investigate proposed rate increase

During the prehearing, Nan Robinson approached the podium and identified herself as a former BGE employee and said she has gathered petition signatures seeking an investigation of the proposed rate increase.
Robinson said, "My name is Nan Robinson, a former BDE employee. But I have, over a 100, person petitioner, request, investigate the rate increase, that I have here." The chair asked her to provide a spelling for the record and staff said General Counsel would follow up to learn more about the organization Ms. Robinson represents before deciding whether to treat it as an intervener. BGE's counsel requested that Ms. Robinson submit a formal petition to intervene so the parties can review the basis for the request; the Commission noted the intervention deadline had passed but that they would consider a formal filing.
