"The LaserPhish platform allows for a manual process to be streamlined in an elegant digital workflow," Kenton said.
Kenton also recommended purchasing hardware and software security upgrades for multiple county locations at a total cost of $214,701.80, citing the need to replace end-of-life equipment and improve encryption support; she said funds are budgeted in the department's capital budget. Both measures were approved by the board by voice vote.
