Carson Aron, senior grant manager, asked the board to approve submission of the Department of Social Services Child Support Enforcement Grant application for fiscal year 2027 seeking $648,171 "or as awarded" to cover salaries, fringe and associated costs for sheriff's office personnel assigned to child support enforcement.
Aron said the grant reimburses 66% of allowable expenditures under Title IV-D and reimburses operating expenses less a DHS administrative fee. The board approved the motion by voice vote recorded as 4-0.
