At the Feb. 10 council meeting Water/Sewer Supervisor Donnie Inman gave an operations update: contractor Gasvoda is expected to finish work on the wastewater treatment plant on Feb. 11 and plans to return in early March to work on the Chestnut Street pump. Inman also said Well #7 has been installed and the department is waiting to schedule activation with Water Well Solutions; bids for a control panel are still being collected.
Street/Alley Supervisor Jesse Houtzel told council members a list of streets eligible for Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) funds had been circulated and that he wants the council to discuss the list in March. Mayor Bill Ingold thanked street, water and police crews for recent efforts responding to snow and a late-evening water issue.
