The McCamey ISD Board of Trustees voted May 14 to certify the canvass of the May 3, 2025 general election and to make official the trustee election results. Amber Selby moved to approve the canvass and Ramon Venegas seconded; the motion carried with trustees Selby, Venegas, Marquez, Renteria, Acosta and Butler voting in favor.
Board Clerk Pamela Adams administered the Oath of Office to Sarah Acosta for Trustee District 5 and Brandon Butler for At‑Large Position 6. The official tally reported at the meeting showed Brandon Butler with 138 votes, Brandon L. Gentry with 52 and Gary Otto Bolen with 20; Sarah Acosta was unopposed for District 5. The board then held its internal officer elections, naming Amber Selby president, Robert Silva vice‑president, Crystal Marquez second vice‑president and Pamela Adams secretary.
