County Clerk Chastity Ware (S4) reported that recent elections ran smoothly and invited the public to a budget outreach session on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the 4-H Building, saying that consultant Dave Trebert/Trebert "will be there" and that the session is open to the public though commissioners will not conduct county business there.
Earlier in the meeting a commissioner moved that the chair be authorized to sign a contract addendum changing the date with Wilborn Sales related to industrial park lots; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn; commissioners voted 'aye' and the session ended.
