The board approved hiring Cash O’Connell to the street department for mowing duties.
Trustee Dees reviewed the interview process and said O’Connell is finishing his CDL in approximately two weeks and will work limited days during the training before moving to full time for mowing. "I make a motion that we hire him," Dees said; Oller seconded and the motion carried (all ayes). Trustees noted O'Connell’s prior maintenance experience for the school and endorsed the hire.
The hire is effective immediately for part‑time work while the candidate completes CDL training, with a transition to full‑time mowing work as training concludes.
