Finance Director Jaime Vasquez presented a recommendation at the March 16 meeting to select Specialized Public Finance, Inc. as the City's municipal financial advisor. Victor Quiroga, Managing Director of Specialized Public Finance, Inc., addressed the council and "briefly outlined the firm's experience and commitment to serving the city," according to the minutes.
Councilmember Chase Waterwall moved to approve the selection and appointment; Councilmember Haley Uhl seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous in favor and the motion passed. The Interim City Manager is authorized to negotiate and execute engagement agreements as needed.
