Harris said the K9 teams recently traveled to Gwinnett County for certification; the sheriff’s office now has two bloodhounds for tracking plus dogs for apprehension and narcotics work. He reported a department purchase of a Mustang funded from asset forfeiture money that was issued to Bobby Garcia. Harris asked for a new radio committee meeting to address communications needs.
