The presiding official moved to approve the resolution, a council member seconded, and the vote was recorded as "Aye." The motion passed unanimously.
Assistant City Manager Andres Rosales told the council the contract totals $462,400 and that crews have largely completed the paving, with only punch-list items remaining. "The task will be completed by the end of this week," Rosales said, and he added staff would return with additional task orders in the near future. Rosales described the stretch as paved in one day and praised the contractor's work: "They've been doing an awesome job." The council said the item is being ratified under the city's purchasing policy because contracts over $100,000 require council ratification.
The approved task order covers pavement rehabilitation along Wilson Street from Buttonwood to Farm Street. The resolution and task order were introduced by the presiding official during the meeting and formalized by the unanimous voice vote. After the vote, council members thanked the crew and moved to adjourn.
