The Midlothian Independent School District Board of Trustees elected Ryan Timm as president during its May 13 regular meeting after a nomination by Trustee Richard Peña and a second from Trustee Ed Harrison. The board voted 7–0 to confirm Timm.
Trustees then selected Gary Vineyard as vice president after a nomination by Trustee Tami Tobey. The nomination carried 7–0. Richard Peña nominated Jessica Ward for secretary; with no further nominations the board voted 7–0 to approve Ward as secretary.
The reorganization took place after the board reconvened to open session at 6:30 p.m. and follows the district’s standard nomination and majority-vote procedure for officer elections. The board record lists the motion and seconds for each nomination.
