City manager reports clean 2025 audit; staff and commissioners highlight donations and events

Mr. Orsack also noted donated supplies for the upcoming Midtown Supper Club season and outlined sponsorship tiers for the recent Touch-a-Truck event. Commissioners congratulated finance staff and thanked event sponsors and volunteers. Separately, commissioners highlighted tourism successes from the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour event, announced an NAACP political action summit on Aug. 15 and a welcome reception for the new Sandusky City Schools superintendent on Aug. 22, and promoted Community Collaboration Day on Aug. 13.
No formal action was required for these reports; staff will continue outreach and coordination for events and will make the audit report available online for public review.
